In this atlas, you will find detailed pages on many aspects of Métis in Canada with contemporary and historical photography, maps and more. There's also a section of FAQ's. This atlas, part of the Canadian Geographic Indigenous Peoples Atlas of Canada, was created by The Royal Canadian Geographical Society in conjunction with the Métis Nation. Other partners in the project include the Assembly of First Nations, Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami, the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation and Indspire.
